Murray and his sons painted two bedrooms and a bathroom for us. Their work was flawless and quick, and they are all nice guys. They had a challenge in my daughter's room because there was some damage on the walls from the candles that she likes to burn, but they overcame that challenge easily. They also cleaned up after they were done, which was really appreciated. I'm hoping that they can return and paint a few other rooms for us when our schedules align. Thanks, guys!

Murray and Sons did the exterior of my mom’s townhouse in Milton. We were so pleased with how it turn out we hired them to scrape ceiling stucco to a smooth surface.
It is a difficult job with a ton of mess, they treated our house as their own by cleaning up daily and the ceiling turned out amazing. Highly recommend them.

After refreshing three interior rooms, Murray and the lads carried on with the Herculean task of painting the exterior of our Victorian home. The architectural features are highlighted with ten colors, five of which are greens! From the smallest window frame to the highest cornice, all of these features received their expert preparation and product application. Of particular note was the treatment of the siding on our newer addition. Murray spent hours sanding the sun-bleached wood and precisely matched the color to the existing window frames.
No detail was overlooked and we were consulted and advised where challenges arose. Murray even returned weeks later to paint an exterior door we had replaced.
Our Victorian beauty has been brought back to life by the conscientious and professional attention that Schneider and Sons are known for. Thanks again!

I would like to take this time to write a letter of reference for Schneider and Sons Painting. They painted the exterior of our home in June 2021.
For the estimate, Murray (owner) of the company came over not once but twice to examine the scope of the job, explaining what was needed besides painting. We agreed with his recommendations and he forwarded his quote outlining the scope of work. We had two other quotes. Schneider was not the least expensive choice, but given the time spent assessing the scope of work compared with competitors, we were much more confident that they understood what needed to be done.
In terms of the work process on site, we always knew when they would be at our home allowingus to prepare, they never left the job once they started and they followed the plan to a “T”. They left a clean work place every day and when the job was complete they conducted a thorough clean-up.
The job is now complete and we are tremendously satisfied. I recommend Schneider and Sons Painting if you want the job done right and on time. We will be using this company again.
If attention to detail and quality work are important to you, I suggest you call them right away - this company is the one you want, and in Milton word spreads fast.

We contracted Schneider & Sons to tackle a big job for us. Our 800 sq ft deck, railings with decorative super structure plus front steps and balcony all needed to be given a fresh new look. Murray assisted in picking the colours and made suggestions on products. The finished job looks fantastic! We expect the deck will last a few years longer. Having heard great reviews about Murray and his crew from a number of people, and then having read the testimonials on his website, I expected the quality of the work to be exceptionally high. I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I was amazed and beyond thrilled at the end of the project. Every aspect of the job was completed in a thoroughly professional manner: they worked very quickly, efficiently, and meticulously, with impeccable results.

In recent weeks we had contacted Schneider & Sons for a cost estimate to have some interior painting done in our home. We were looking toward setting a date in the spring. Murray arrived promptly in typical Murray fashion, put together an estimate to do our kitchen, living room, entry, laundry & bath. As mentioned we were looking ahead to spring. Murray was aware of this but told us he had a couple days open the following week. Without pressure he said he could be available for us then. A year & a half ago we had Schneider & Son’s paint the exterior of our home. It was a very positive experience so it was based on the confidence and trust we had in Murray and his son Brendan we took advantage of the time available . They came a few days later. The task was beautifully completed in less that two days. Furnishings, household items, pictures were back in place. Except for having our main living space looking fresh and brand new, one would never know they were here. It was almost magical. The dynamic duo had done it again.

We recently had our house painted by Schneider and Sons Painting. The whole process from the initial quote to the final cleanup was a delight.

What began as wanting to brighten my dark dining room, turned into painting the living room, dining room, entrance, and hall ways. From the get go, Murray was so very professional. We recently purchased a property on Shawnigan Lake. The existing Boat House, needed a renovation and we had all the trades lined up. Just when the painter was due to start, he decided to back out, as the project was quite detailed. After looking at several other painters, we settled on Schneider & Sons Painting, due to the owner Murray's, 'attention to detail,' when he came out to price the project.
The project involved interior and exterior work, it was detailed, with some deep rich colours, which required more than the allowed coats of paint. He wasn't the lowest price, but he had spent an hour going through the project completely, as the other painters only spent 5 mins looking through the work required.
His quote was detailed and he had everything included. Therefore we felt a level of comfort and confidence, in awarding Schneider & Sons the job.
We were not disappointed. We knew right away when we saw, Murray's team of painters show up on site, all kitted out in White overalls, that we had made the right choice. Not only did he mobilize on our job, within a very short time of notice, he also completed the project within our tight schedule. Which was very much appreciated. Schneider & Sons, did not hesitate to do what ever was required, to make us happy and did not complain about going back and doing the touch ups, that are required after some of the trades.
They went over and above, what is normally expected, to make sure that we were satisfied and happy with there work. We found Schneider & Sons to be very professional, meticulous, detailed, hard working, tidy and very conscientious in every aspect.
Murray's crew are a delight to work with and they were all very accommodating to our many requests.

Being new to the area, I had no references on Local Painters. I found Schneider & Sons website and gave them a call. Murray got back to me quickly, and came to our house to look over the job, and provide an estimate. He was very helpful in choosing colors, and providing guidance as to where painted areas should start and stop. We set a date, and Murray arrived on time, and promptly got to work. He was very friendly and very respectful of our property. The painting was done quickly, and to the highest standard. By the end of the job, Murray was like a good friend.
My wife and I are extremely pleased with the outcome. We feel that we received excellent value overall. I would highly recommend Schneider & Sons, and will definitely call again when we need more painting done.

Murray and his team painted the entire exterior of our house/soon-to-be Thai restaurant in Shawnigan Lake recently, and we were so pleased with the job they did. Murray and crew did an excellent job on the exterior of our home.
Our house was built in 1935 and has several unique features including high turrets, detailed facia, and flower boxes. The garden surrounding the house also has delicate shrubs and plants which makes painting, especially in tight corners and areas, a real challenge. Murray and his crew were very professional and sensitive about these particular aspects of the home and property and made my wife and I feel secure that nothing would be damaged during the job. They were true to their word and went above and beyond during the prep process and painting. Murray was honest and friendly. The main body of the house is a pebbly stucco and had to be carefully hand-rolled. The work ethic of the crew was solid and they were on time and always polite. What we really appreciated was that Murray kept us up to date and walked us through each step of the process. We had the feeling that Murray truly cared about us as clients and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the final product. We are so happy with the outcome and highly recommend Murray and his crew.

My husband and I had Schneider and Sons paint the inside of our home in January and could not have
asked for better quality of workmanship, professionalism, honesty, or price. Our home is a character home with 20 foot vaulted ceilings. As well, our home had a lot of minor damages to the walls and was smoked in so it was not an easy home to paint but the finished product now looks amazing!
Murray was also so easy to work with, communicating with us on every step letting us know his time
schedule and keeping his word on when he would arrive on the job site and how long the job would take.

Recently, I had undertaken the huge project of painting the interior of my home. The timing couldn't have been better to come home to find one of Murray's flyers on my door handle. Murray returned my call immediately and was at my home providing me with an estimate and time frame right away.
